We painstakingly recreated the level, down to the cinematic. Our pawn slid down the pole, the victory BGM played and the pawn did a victory pose. The cannons fired in the background and the pawn entered the castle.

In this team project, we were tasked with recreating something unorthodox in UDK. We chose Super Mario Bros and went to work recreating the first level. I handled scripting (Kismet), lighting and fine tuning the design (clearances, fun and accuracy of the reproduction).
